What is actually open in Labuan Bajo after dark?
Labuan Bajo is a compact harbour town, and its night-time footprint is smaller than most first-time visitors expect. The waterfront strip along Jalan Soekarno-Hatta stays lively until late with restaurants, dive shop offices and small bars. Beyond that strip, activity fades quickly. Warungs in the residential lanes close early, minimarts in town typically run late but not always around the clock, and the hillside hotel areas above the bay can be very quiet by mid-evening.
Komodo Airport (LBJ) is a daytime airport in practice. Scheduled commercial flights are concentrated in the morning and midday, so the terminal is not a place to wait out the night.
