What is included in a half-day and full-day block?
- Half day is a 5-hour block from pickup, suited to a city loop, a hotel-to-viewpoint run, or a short errand circuit.
- Full day is a 10-hour block, the standard for sightseeing, multi-stop itineraries and long west-coast hotel runs.
- Driver, fuel and standard parking are normally inside the quoted band. Entrance tickets, meals and guide fees are quoted separately when relevant.
- Time beyond the block is charged as overtime per hour and is stated in your quote before departure, never added afterwards.

What moves a transport quote up or down?
- Season. July, August and the year-end holiday period run at the upper end of each band. Shoulder months usually land mid-band or lower.
- One-way drop. A drop in Ruteng, Bajawa or Maumere means the vehicle returns empty, so the return leg is partly priced in. A round trip is often better value per kilometre.
- Overnight. Any route where the driver sleeps away from base adds driver accommodation and a meal allowance. This is stated as a line item, not buried in the rate.
- Vehicle class. The gap between a compact MPV and a premium van is the single largest lever. Choosing one class down often saves more than negotiating.
- Duration and stops. Long stop lists, remote side roads and overtime beyond the block all push the number up.
- Multi-day commitment. Three days or more with the same vehicle is usually quoted below the sum of the daily rates.

Why are prices shown in USD?
Most of our guests plan and compare in USD, so quoting in USD keeps the comparison honest across vehicle classes and routes. Payment currency and method are agreed when you confirm.
Is the price per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle. A group of five in one Avanza pays the same vehicle rate as a solo traveller. This is why matching group size to vehicle class matters more than anything else for cost.
Do you charge extra for a long day?
Only beyond the agreed block. Half day is 5 hours and full day is 10 hours; overtime is quoted per hour up front, so there is no surprise at the end of the day.
